I started weaving in 1976,
and it still gives me enormous pleasure
to make new discoveries
everyday on an old instrument:
the loom.
Metre upon metre of fibres
run through my fingers:
natural fibers which all belong
to the history of textiles.
Through intuition, creativity,
skill and practical knowledge
I weave exclusive textiles:
Furnishing fabrics:
tablecloths,
table mats,
curtains,
towels
and wall hangings.
Dress fabrics:
ties, jackets,
scarfs and shawls...
Many visitors
who come to Sovana,
see me weaving
through the window
and call in my workshop.
This direct contact
with people gives me the opportunity
for feedback
and a practical explanation
of my research
and experiments.
It's not easy to recreate
here on the Web,
the atmosphere, emotions
and the physical feeling
involved in my work
However, I'll try to draw you
into my little world
as best I can!
